ARTIST BIO
As a self taught Caribbean/Canadian artist, I started painting in 1991 when I moved back to Grenada, the island of my birth. I painted with a newfound affinity for my childhood home, inspired by the colours and vibrant simplicity of everyday island life.
Painting prolifically, I soon gained a following of collectors both from Grenada and abroad. Moving back and forth between Toronto and Grenada over the years, including traveling through the Caribbean, Europe and the Americas, I gained inspiration from the life styles and people I encountered.
Although I primarily work with acrylics and oils in a realistic style, I continue to explore abstract painting, using various mediums. I do not limit myself to one style, medium or concept.
