GAS is now accepting submissions for memberships.
Presently, there are 26 memberships available which guarantee a show slot for every artist during an 18 month cycle. All shows are 3 weeks long and this includes the hanging and taking down for the show. Installation and repairs will be pre-determined for every show. A minimal charge for repairs will apply. Artists must be available to hang and strike work.
Application for membership must include 10digital samples of your recent work, plus a CV. Bookings for shows are on a first come, first serve basis. Show slots are booked upon receipt of 18 post –dated cheques.
Membership guarantees
- a page on the GAS website
- a permanent space to display work
-* GAS staff member to mind your show during gallery hours, including the opening , so you are free to enjoy your reception.
- GAS admin handles all marketing and promotion
- non exclusivity : GAS is your home gallery, allowing you to participate and show wherever else you choose
- members pay less for more: group shows organized by GAS; rentals for workshops private events etc.
Membership Rates:
South Gallery $100/month (24’ x 15’ x 10’ ceiling)
North Gallery $80/month (16’ x 15’ x 10’ ceiling)
North & South Gallery $150/month
GAS does charge 5% on works sold.
Please note that all promotional material must be approved/cleared by GAS.

GAS promotes collaboration with other artists and therefore, other events may run concurrently. This potential will be discussed with artist.
Space Rental (non- membership rates)
Both the North and South Galleries are available to artist’s who would like to rent on a one- two – three week basis.
