I graduated from OCA before it became OCAD. Since then I’ve worked with every known painting and drawing material, not only in my studio, but also with co-op groups, and in theatrical design for stage and television. In the 80′s I designed and painted several large exterior and interior murals, one of them in Scarboro in ’92. I also dipped into lithography in the 80′s that led me to the monoprint which has become my delight for the last 25 years.
I have been profoundly influenced by the lifelong experience of Ontario waterway, first growing up on the St. Lawrence River, then living all summer with our family at Charleston Lake north of Kingston and Brockville.
I have continued through out to exhibit in Montreal and Ontario and to teach privately up to the present. I taught for many years in Montreal at the Saidye Brofman Centre until moving to Toronto in 2005.
